Lake O' The Pines, Texas Daylight Disc

Hi Brian, I've never made a report to your site before, though I've had a few sightings since June 2005 when I first began actively looking for unexplained aerial phenomena. I live at Lake O' The Pines, Texas which is in the northeastern part of the state, and I go out several times a week in hopes of seeing something and/or capturing it with my digital camera.

This afternoon (March 26, 2006) at 4:02 P.M. I took a series of pictures of some clouds in the sky just outside of my home, and in three of these a disc showed up when I reviewed the pictures afterward. I have a Canon Powershot S2 IS with a 1.5X teleconverter lens, and these pictures were taken at 5Mp and 18X optical zoom. I would prefer to actually see the object that I'm taking pictures of, but since they're usually too distant for my eyes or the LCD viewfinder to pick up, I'll take what I can get LOL. These are some of the best to date that I've taken, and the fact that the structure of this daylight disc is clearly visible really made my day.

Attached are the three original, unedited pictures from my camera as well as three that are cropped down to size with 6X enlarged insets enhanced with "autocontrast" for clarity. Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for sending in his report.
