Time: 10:00 p.m. to midnight.
My son and I were on American Lake in Lakewood last night (July 4th) watching the fireworks late into the evening. There were many of us standing around outside and we all saw the same lights you describe. We tried to get cell phone photos also, but I’m not sure if anyone actually did.
There was a distinct “flight” pattern, they would move at a even pace through the sky, stop and just be still for a while and then just disappear.
We were at the lake from 10:00 p.m. to midnight and I counted 9 separate objects. I was trying to figure out what they were, but there was no good explanation for them.
Right before we left, there were an additional two that came from a completely different direction, but they were the exact same objects as seen previously.
