Orange Colored Light/Object seen Flying Over Narragansett Rhode Island

Date:  July 10, 2012
Time:  Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Orange colored orb moving across sky above me at a fast clip. Appeared amazingly close for a celestial object, but too fast to be a plane, no flashing lights.

It was quite amazing to see. Silent and no sound. Headed from southwest to northeast.
Anyone else in the area see this?

So last night, 11/02/2013 @ ~1030PM I'm outside in my yard and I look up and see this orange light approaching from the western sky. I point it out to my buddy. This thing is flying at about 1500 feet and moving at maybe 50 knots. The damn thing gets within 10 degrees of directly overhead and it's clearly on fire. We could see the flames dancing like on a yule log. It was silent. The winds were dead calm and we were both sober as judges. The thing continued east for about four minutes before burning out over Rhode Island Sound.

Slow & low & silent.

I'm going with a drone that caught fire and sticking to my story.
