Time: Approx: 12:30 a.m.
July 5, 2012 Was about 12:30 a.m., sitting on the beach on Anna Maria Island. Saw floating reddish, orange lights. Four other people saw these as well.
Thought thy might be flares (SOS), contemplated contacting police or Coast Guard but didn't see anymore.

I saw something like these orange lights two weeks ago when we were leaving the island on Sunday. I have seen strange things in the sky here three times now... but this was the first time it was orange (& glowing). also, I have only noticed/witnessed the strange crafts/lights over the past two years. Maybe some secret new aircraft of the AF Base?
