Altoona, Iowa A Pink Flashing Object

Location of Sighting: Outside on my back porch.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: It appeared to be a large star-like object.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hey Brian, I was looking out my kitchen window tonight and noticed a large pink flashing star-like object. This object came from the west and was heading east. Right away I knew this couldn't have been from around here since the object was flashing in a pinkish color. It was flashing at a medium pace and the object itself was moving fairly fast and was at a height of about seven hundred feet and was moving silently. I have never seen a pink flashing object around these parts before so I can't tell you what it was. When the pink light wasn't flashing you could tell the object was a grayish color. I watched this object for about five minutes, and the weather tonight is cloudy and cool.
