North of Lawton, Michigan UFO Hovered But Rose Slightly

Posted: February 9, 2008

Date: August 12, 2007 Time: Approx: 11:00 to 11:15 p.m.

North of Lawton, Michigan possibly over Kalamazoo, U.S.A.

Approach Direction: North not far above horizon. It rose slightly. Departure Direction: North. Never left a streak or moved. Witness Direction: We were facing due North.

Description: A bright light appeared in the sky just above the horizon. My cousin and I said, "hey, what is that?" We were looking out onto Gravel Lake in Lawton. The light didn't move like an airplane and left no trail like a meteor shower. It was bright and hovered but rose slightly on the horizon. It then went amber and dimmed until it completely disappeared. There was no sign of a helicopter or airplane. I called to my other family members to come take a look. It reappeared in almost the exact same spot approximately 5 minutes later. It was just as bright, turned amber and dimmed until it disappeared.

Color/Shape: Round in shape. It had so much glow it had spires like a star. I would say it was the yellowish color like a light bulb.

Height & Speed: It was maybe 30 to 45 degrees above the horizon, rising to about 60 degrees.

TV/Radio/Press: I never got the paper as we were vacationing with cousins on Gravel Lake.
