We also saw this same orange light with what appeared to have wings above the light. It was like a fireball glowing. At first I thought it looked like a small glider plane that had possibly caught on fire. It was at about a helicopters altitude and drifted south for a bit the headed back north and eventually headed east and got higher and higher and vanished into a high cloud.
It was at approximately 9:00pm on July 3, 2010 between the towns of Auburn, Nebraska and Nebraska City, Nebraska. (approx 10 miles north of Auburn and 10 miles south of Ne. City along hwy 75) A friend who was in Columbus, Nebraska also witness the same thing that evening. This was witnessed by myself and my husband and our 3 children ages 7,7, and 4.

I saw this in 2010. I was 19. I saw it in the sky around 5pm in england london. it only glided for 30-60 secs so fast but the wings moved slow as if in a stuck in time..but moved to fast anf disappeared to get a photo!
