Time: Evening.Brian, I too seen these strange orange lights. But I did not see them in July 2010. I seen them on September 19, 2009 over Commack Long Island. I had my camera with me and took some pictures. I filed a report on CNN. If you Google strange orange lights over Long Island The report should still come up.
