Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Lorain County Ohio

Date:  November  6, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Last night at about 9:30 p.m. I observed a strange orange orb traveling west in the southern sky. It wasn't moving that fast, so I called my wife to show her, and we watched as it approached a group of 8 to 10 of the same objects.

They were in kind of a triangle formation. We watched it join the group and then they all just faded away. The one that flew by, made no sound as it was about as high as a helicopter fly's. It was a perfectly clear night.

I tried to take pictures with my phone, but the objects can't be seen  in the photos. I live in Lorain County Ohio, 5 miles south of Lake Erie very close to the corner of State Routes 301 and 254 or Abbey and Detroit Roads.

Shortly after I saw 2 planes headed in the same direction flying lower that usual. Do you know what it was that I saw? I'm a little shaken.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

We were sitting around the fire pit in our backyard in Avon, OH last night with another couple. We saw these orange objects too. They were not planes which have blinking beacons. These had a steady glow. From our angle they were to the north of us. All four of us observed them as they moved slowly to the west and gained altitude. There were a series of the the objects that must have totaled about a dozen. They were not in formation, but all did follow a similar path. Once they reached a certain altitude and distance, they vanished into the night sky.
