My son and I were driving in the area of the boarder of Northfield and Egg Harbor Twp., New Jersey on March 5, 2012. I had just got done asking him what time it was (7:58 p.m. EST) when we both witness a "flair" like green light shoot across the sky.
It seemed to speed up and then disappear completely. There were no obstructions to block our view. We laughed it off. Out of boredom I Googled "green ling in sky New Jersey" and found this site.
