Saw the objects around 7:15 November 2, 2012 at first seemed like a large meteor fire ball coming down from the sky then it split in to 5 or 6.
Then 1 or 2 flamed off the others came down moving side to side in the Homestead, Florida area, hope this helps.

I saw it too..posted it on Youtube and Facebook to see if anyone else saw it..I still haven't found an answer...I saw them split up..I also saw an aircraft circling around at the top...and i think it was dropping these fireballs or whatever they were...
I witnessed the same thing earlier tonight. I did not see it split. It remained one huge falling ball of fire with a tail, falling straight down in the sky. The sun had set, but there was still plenty of light out. It fell really slow and was much to large to be a shooting star. What was this? I tried finding info online, but I cannot find anyone else who has seen this.
My wife called 911 and said something was falling out of the sky on fire... It looked like a meteor...
I saw 2 fireballs merging into 1. And I also saw the plane in that area as well. I'm wondering how far away you guys were from it. I was by SW 137 ave and 96 St
