Fireball Breaks Into Four Pieces Observed From Monroe Meadows Monroe Ohio

Date:  July 15, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Brian, myself and three of my friends also spotted the same thing that you did.  We were also located in Monroe in the Monroe Meadows neighborhood.  We saw a fireball fly across the sky, but very slowly as if it were a wrecking airplane or something.

It then split into four pieces and they just stopped falling.  They were lighting up and then going out over and over again.  They then began to move around each other.  It was a very strange thing to see.

We ran to the top of that cemetery hill to get a better view, but all we had was our phone video cameras which wouldn’t have been sufficient enough to see the lights with great detail.  Please get back to me as soon as possible.  Has anyone else seen this?

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

My son Jonathan, and his grandparents spotted a slow moving fireball in the sky over Greenwood, South Carolina about 11:15 pm on July 15, 2012. We have been searching for any reports or explainations and found this site. His description is very similar to those posted here. It wasn't a plane, balloon or anything obvious. We have had a few storms here but this was a clear night. It seemed to glow like fire and disappeared after going behind a tree. It never made a noise. Any ideas?
