5 Orange/Red Lights In The Sky Over Orlando Florida

Date:  February 9, 2013
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Around 8:30 pm, I saw 5 orange/red lights in the sky. I live in Orlando, Florida near an airport.

I know what planes look and sound like and that wasn't it. They seemed to fly in a geometric pattern while flying over.

There wasn't a sound or even a vibration. 4 were flying close together and the city was a little further behind. They seem to slowly pulsate between red and orange.

After they passed over, they sped off into the heavens individually. I'm sure what they are.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

I also live in Orlando Florida and I saw the exact same thing from my porch last night along with my father, mother, and younger brother. There were 4 of them that seemed to travel in a formation. Then the fifth one came and changed colors to a bright red. After that they sort of just disappeared slowly... Very weird... And I knew I couldn't have been the only one to see it. I also live right next to the airport

I also saw the same exact thing - I live right by the airport and I agree they were not planes....the 4 that were in foremation were way too close together to be planes and they were flying across the normal flight path of incoming planes

I live near OIA and just saw at least 10-15 orange lights, sometimes in formation. They were not planes, just disappeared as they went up.

Just saw something similar at 2230 tonight. We were traveling south on 417 near Narcossee road near the airport. A total of seven orange lights seemed to be traveling north in formation (in a shape of the fighter Phantom) on a much much larger scale. An eighth light was out front of them seeming ro escort in the same direction. A FHP was pulled over out of the vehicle looking with an additional vehicles stopped on the side of the road to observe. I'm a military member of over 20 yrs and have never seen anything like this.

I've beencurious about these lights over the city of Orlando, and last night I saw them again in the same sequence and the same color, but I thought it was a show of some kind with airplanes, but at that time, a plane was landing which looked nothing like these lights, and these lights one by one kept disappearing Sunday evening, but nothing on the news...

I have seen the lights in Orlando before but usually I am driving and I lose them in the trees or something. Tonight I saw one by itself flying steadily and in a straight path over my house. It was red, then turned orange and then yellow/orange and then got smaller and dimmer and smaller and vanished into the night sky. It made not a sound, nothing. Quieter than a mouse. What is this I keep seeing? This must be the 7th time I have seen this same thing.

I saw it tonight. No sound at all. Flew slow and steadily over my house. Went from a bright red to orange then to a yellowish orange and then it began to shrink in size and get more red and fade away into space or something. Got really really small and then just gone. This is not the first time I have seen this type of flying object in Orlando. Maybe 7 times by now. What is it?

Just watched three yellow lights fly overhead in a straight line near Orlando International Airport. No sound, flying in flight path for commercial planes. Watched them for 30-45 seconds then they disappeared. Strange and eerie.

I live in Sanford, just around the corner of the Sanford airport. Last night, I saw 4 orange/red glowing lights above my house starting around 10:00pm. The first one I saw while I was driving home. It was hovering over a commercial building. As soon as I stopped my car to see it, it started moving north. I got back in my car and drove home (about 4 blocks away). I was watching it the whole time. It eventually just vanished in an area that it didn't make sense for it to vanish. As soon as I got home, I had to change the windshield wipers on my car. I was telling my husband about what I just saw because it reminded me of a story our neighbor told us when we lived in Casselberry last year. She had seen 3 orange lights flying above our house. Anyway, what I told him matched up with what our neighbor told him. As soon as I was done telling that story, another orange light came from over the horizon. It flew in the same flight path as the first one I saw. We sat there and watched it the whole time. It flew right over our heads and did not make a sound. It seemed to be the size of a small car about 1,000 feet off the ground. It disappeared right as we heard a jet from the airport taking off. About 20 minutes later, as we were finishing replacing my windshield wipers, another orange light appeared, again in the same flight path as the other 2. while that one was still visible, yet another one appeared and flew the same path. Right around the same place that the other 2 disappeared, so did these two. It almost seems like they were going into an invisible mothership or something. Because they weren't high enough to be hidden by clouds, and they weren't far enough to fall out of our range of sight.

They were a dull orange (similar to metal halide street lights) around the front and sides. The rear had red lights. When they were directly above us, you could see a very faint white light alternating flashes from the front and back. A couple hours later, helicopters flew nearby, you could hear them and see their flashing lights distinctly. Whatever the orange/red lights are, they are definitely not planes or helicopters.

My husband and I just saw three orange light cross the western sky. Two were close and the third tried behind. Each one disappeared independently upon reaching the same spot in the sky. Port Charlotte, Fl

Last night I was looking out my bedroom window in the direction of Orlando on the second floor and staight ahead in the sky I live in Auburndale, Fl i saw the bright orange balls floating upward some were in groups some alone and when they reach a certain height they disappeared. Then after a minute or so another group started floating again was something I have never seen before!
