Bright Orange Light Over Fishers Indiana

Date: July 29, 2011
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

My wife and I saw a bright orange light tonight (7/29) at our house in fishers, IN tonight at approximately 10:00pm est. The light came out of the northwest sky right during a light storm started. It was just under the cloud deck and tracked heading southeast and took approximately a minute, to a minute and a half to pass out of view.

It was much brighter than a plane or helicopter, it had no green, red or white flashing lights and had no sound whatsoever. Did anyone report a similar occurrence?

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Saw it tonight. It was appearing out of the southwest about 11:40PM Saturday, September 29. It was like it was on fire. It made a turn to the southeast and it disappeared after two minutes. Good luck on your sightings.

I was driving down I-69 in the Fishers area around 10:30 pm tonight and I saw these bright orange lights in the sky. There were 20 or so of them in this constellation-like pattern. It almost looked like the big dipper. They weren't moving up or down...but they seemed to shift slowly horizontally. When we drove past them i looked back and then decided to take a picture because it was something like I'VE NEVER seen before. So I looked back to do so and they were completely gone...
